Hara Forests
Hormozgan · IRAN DIGITAL WALL

Hara changes character as the water rises and falls. Between Qeshm and the mainland, salt-tolerant mangroves grow among shallow coves and tidal channels; at low tide, roots and mudflats emerge beneath the canopy. A quiet boat trip with a local guide lets you notice reflections, tangled roots and the channels used by fish and waterbirds. The interest lies in seeing a forest shaped by the sea, not walking a conventional woodland trail. Plan the outing around the tide, and watch birds from a distance so the habitat remains undisturbed.
