Chabahar’s coast draws the eye from rocky headlands to sandy coves and a wide sea horizon. This stretch of Makran faces the Gulf of Oman and the waters of the Indian Ocean, giving south-eastern Iran a different coastal character from the Persian Gulf islands. Allow time for both elevated rocky views and the closer textures of the shore. Tides change where water meets the rocks, while shifting daylight brings out the landforms. The reason to linger is that relationship between coast and sea: a landscape to observe at different scales, rather than a single beach photograph.
