Filband Village
Mazandaran · IRAN DIGITAL WALL

Filband’s appeal depends partly on a changing sky. The highland village is known for clouds that sometimes collect below its ridges, creating the impression of a white sea beneath the settlement. That scene is weather-dependent, not a constant feature to expect on arrival. Even when the cloud layer is absent, the outlook explains the village’s position between the humid Caspian region and the Alborz mountains. The travel value is in watching those two environments meet: mountain contours stay in place while mist and cloud continually alter what can be seen between them.
