Zanjan Bazaar
Zanjan · IRAN DIGITAL WALL

Zanjan Bazaar combines architectural continuity with the activity of a working market. Among Iran’s longest covered bazaars, it developed in the Qajar period and contains specialised lanes, caravanserais and courtyards beneath brick vaults and coloured tilework. Trade and craftsmanship give those spaces their present rhythm. Follow one craft section closely before moving onwards; it is a good way to connect the province’s local arts with the market’s layout. A visit complements the region’s monuments by putting skilled work and everyday exchange at the centre of the picture.
