Urmia Bazaar
West Azerbaijan · IRAN DIGITAL WALL

Urmia Bazaar is a useful place to understand the city through movement and commerce. Its covered brick lanes lead through a historic-centre complex of caravanserais and craft sections, where the layout recalls connections between Iran, Anatolia and the Caucasus. Rather than seeing the market as only a shopping stop, read the spaces that gathered people and goods along those routes. The change from a lane to an inner commercial space is part of its interest, giving the old centre a more tangible geography.
